About Core Lithium

Core Lithium is a safe and responsible participant of Australia’s mining sector, supplying sustainably and ethically sourced Australian minerals that contribute positively to the global decarbonisation effort.

Core’s flagship asset, the Finniss Lithium Operation, is an Australian hard-rock lithium mine on the Cox Peninsula, located 88km south-west and by sealed road from the Darwin Port. Finniss is Australia’s newest lithium mine, and the only Australian lithium mine outside of Western Australia.

Core commenced production and sale of spodumene concentrate in February 2023 – less than six years since declaring a maiden Mineral Resource at Finniss, and less than two years since a Final Investment Decision was made in 2021.

Lithium has a fundamental role in shaping the global energy future, with battery storage key to realising global decarbonisation pathways. Core is excited to play our part in that journey through mining and processing spodumene concentrate that is essential to battery production.
